CLASSES
IMPORTANT: Please check out our Welcome Brochure before booking your child’s place.
Mini Ninjas – 4-7 year olds
These classes are predominantly made up of Year 1 and Year 2 Students, however, we do usually invite Reception children after Easter in the Summer Term. The Mini Ninjas Lessons have a very High priority in not only the FUN aspect, but also promote the ABC;s (Agility, Balance, Coordination, Speed) and the Fundamentals of Movement Skills (FMS) such as Balance, Locomotor and Ball Skills, to help with the children’s Physical Literacy.
There is a Mini Ninjas Curriculum, so children can work towards different coloured belts, by learning these skills. Videos are available on our Website and App, so Students can practice at home and show Parents/Guardians how great they are! As long as they are safe !
We also start the Ninja Life Skills programme with this class, to give them a great start in life !
These classes give the Students a fantastic introduction into Martial Arts and will get them ready for their promotion into the Junior Dragons programme.
Junior Dragons – 7-11 year olds
Our Students start the Junior Dragon programme once they have started Year 3. They continue to work on the ABC’S and the Fundamentals of Movement Skills (FMS), but at a higher level. They also increase their knowledge and skill set on the Martial Arts skills via the Junior Dragon Curriculum.
The Junior Dragon Curriculum adds both Kickboxing/Combination Drills and Fitness, to increase the difficulty and determination required for each Student to progress.
We discuss “Black Belt” mentality during these classes, which allows for a “can do” attitude and positive mindset within each class.
With Hard work and the correct attitude as well as a high attendance record, Junior Dragons can reach Deputy Black Belt or Black during their time with us.
Warriors 11-18 year olds
The Warrior Class was started, as we had so many Students wanting to stay with us, beyond their Primary School Days, as they loved Martial Arts !
Students can still work towards a Belt Curriculum, but a big emphasis is put more on Martial Arts fitness, including Sparring and Foam Weapons training, to make sure Students still have as much FUN as possible.
